Baked Beans

PRESTON

Recommended Posts

Baked beans, straight from the tin are good for Roach I found.I imagine they are favoured by allsorts of fish, especially during the Summer months, because of the high sugar content.I've also bean..hehe..using carrot from the tin.I hav'nt actually caught on the carrot but they are having a nibble and any I've put in has bean..haha..cleared the next day.A matter of time I reckon. To be honest I think fish will take anything alien if you show them it long enough. Is'nt that what pre-baiting is all about? :P

By the way,a size 14 wide gape, short shank will do the job nicely.Stick the barb in anywhere and rotate the hook until the whole thing is completely hidden. On the drop waggler set-ups and an underarm cast are the order as the bait is quite soft.A good solid dig will set the hook no problem and don't wait for a second knock. The first bite will demolish the hookbait.

PRESTON:

Hi

has anyone ever fished with baked beans i was going to try them on my next fishing trip.

How do u hook them?

do u put them in a groundbait?

I suppose you would know that the groundbait is being eaten because of the bubbles!
