Can anybody give me some info re day tickets/free-fishing on the Exe in or around Exeter or any other tributary (North Devon/Cornwall)Or will I have to drive further up M5 to the Avon or Somerset.

Hi Doug,

Hopefully, somebody local will chip in here. In the meantime, please feel free to use the Anglers' Net Fishing Database. There are around 7,000 fishing venues in there to choose from :)

Tight lines,

Elton

Hi Doug

I am Secretary of Taunton AA (just up the road) and for £5 a day you can fish the river Tone. It is a river of many different characters, depending on where you go, from a fast flowing stream with grayling over 2lb, to a slow flowing Fen type river with big shoals of bream.

If you want to know more then I suggust you look at our website http://www.taunton-angling.co.uk where you will also find details of where to buy tickets.

If you still what to fish the Exe, then the best place for info is Exeter Angling Centre.

Cheers

Jonboy :D
