some spod help please

Having had problems with spodding i have now got some dyneema floating braid and Korda Arma Kord.

So i have two questions.

 

1, what length should the leader of Korda Arma Kord be?

 

2, what is the best know for joining the leader to the floating braid?

 

Any help would be great.

I use

for my shock leader to mainline, but my shock leader isn't Korda Arma Kord and at around £13.99 for 20m, it never with be.

 

As for length of shock leader, i have it so there is just 2 or 3 on my spool when my spod is in the correct position for casting.
