Welsh Dee polluted again

Looks like The Dee is catching it again - quarter of a million gallons of industrial effluent from an industrial treatment works at Cefn Mawr, next to the Trefnant Brook. BBC report here.

 

Just when it looks like the fishing is on its way back this happens. I sincerely hope somebodies vitals are going to get nailed to a post for this one!

As you say, it's a real pain and a shame, and not the first time there's been a major pollution incident here. I agree, let's hope they get a hefty fine and are made to pay the cost of clearing up and re-stocking

they wont do anything they didnt to the last one did thay and that one killed the whole dee of too. atleast it didn't make it to chester were i am.
