Does any one know what the record is for a godgoun as this summer fishing for tench at elvington I through out a lump of meet and caught a massive one! it was about 20cm long

the last record entry i have is for 5ozs

Caught by a mr d hull in 1990 dont know if it has been beaten yet smile.gif

I would say the Gudgeon record has been broken loads of times but no one is bothered to lodge a record claim! biggrin.gif

Which reminds me of a story from a looong time ago of a 20lb + pike being taken on a record breaking Bleak live bait...
