Fishy Potential

With carp of 40lb being reported fairly regularly these days I wondered whether we are experiencing fish growth at it's maximum potential now.

It's not just carp though, almost every species of fish are being caught at specimen proportions.

The question is: what do you guys out there think the ultimate weight for each of our indigenous species of fish is, or are we experiencing those weights now?
