Clubs, fellow anglers in Sheffield

I have been fishing in and around Sheffield for three years now. I tend to focus on commercial ponds and the Sheffield canal. Are there any clubs that you know of that i could join to find some like minded anglers? I am not into fishing matches. Carping, piking and day sessions is my thing.

Im in a fishing club. The Transport Club Angling section. We run matches between ourselves. @ £52 Per year and for this you get 4 matches Breakfast and travel. BUT you have to join the Transport club its self for £30per year. This gives you access to the club which has a well stocked bar at low prices. I.E £1.71 pt carling, £0.84 spirits.£1.40 bottles.

We are in the phone book.

P.S you may have to pre book for next years matches as I think we are full at the mo.

PPS We have a £2 waver each and usually £20+ to winner.

try Wire Mill Dam near hangingwater lane, fullwood. Its free fishing in nice surroundings and it has a good head of quality crucians,tench, perch and roach which normally oblige.
