Picture origin?

Yeah, that is the only possible other but I couldn't say for definite. The fish in the pic seems to have a definite transition from body to head (shape wise) which I've seen in large Roach before but the body is not as deep and more Ide like.

 

I just don't know. My default position lol

Sorry to bother with such a silly thread, just figured out this fish wasn't caught by my mate, nor was it caught this year even. Checked the EXIF-info (geeky!) online, and got some info about the picture from there. FYI the pic was caught, wich presumes the fish was caught, July 28, 2008 10:30:29PM

 

But, could it be a roach-rudd hybrid? I know roach can vary in colors alot, so is it possible this might be a hybrid?
