Carp on flys

I know this topic has been done a few times but I'm hoping for some longer posts from those of you who have experience with this method. With F&M slowing things down in the UK and with Nightwing still frozen in (Spring that not due up his way for a month or so at least), maybe some of the fly guys have time to write long posts.

 

For one thing, with your current crayfish situation and given the fact that carp over here really enjoy a meal of crayfish, some work with a crayfish pattern might produce some surprising results in waters where they are found.
