Could anyone help with my quest to find Barbel on the Clyde?

I've read here and there that they exist but I cannot find any good info on them.

Has anyone actually aimed for them to any extent?

Where are they etc. I hear Netherton and Wishaw are the right areas to seek them out but anything that would help would be gratefully received.

Cheers Bobby. I,ll let ye know if anything turns up. I,m going strictly for Barbel so I,m sticking to meatbaits etc. I don't want any pesky trout turning up.

Can anyone else help?? Much appreciated.
