Places to buy pike baits in bulk?

The only place I can find to buy pike baits in bulk is Neville Ficklings place in Gainsboro. Are there any other places I could try?

I live in North Cambs. There aren't any decent wet fish shops in my area either!

I have been spoilt as living on the coast for most of my life has meant that I can always get a good supply of quality deads cheap.A trip to the coast and a fish market would certainly pay dividends.Take cool boxs buy them as fresh as possible and take care in the way you freeze and store them.A handy alternative is the supermarket.Even though their wet fish is expensive (still cheaper than a tackle shop though!)most Tescos and Sainsburys do bags of frozen sardines that are both good quality and cheap.Just ask at the fish counter.If you want freshwater fish then club together with a few mates and drive down to Billingsgate one morning.Best of all next summer take a trip too the coast armed with your pike rod and a set of feathers! one tide will give you a winters supply of bait.

Well what can I say. I sent some Postal orders away on Tuesday night first class, hoping they would arrive at Baits Direct on Wednesday. They promised if they recieved the PO's by Wednesday, they would definately deliver on Friday (today). At 12.40 my order arrived (I stay in Glasgow by the way!), packed beautifully and frozen solid. Not only are they the best quality baits I've seen in ages but they also sent me some free baits too. 10 out of 10 for Baits Direct. I,ll be back.

Trouble is with supermarkets, they don't stock stuff like mini trout, mini mackerel, launce and eel sections! I had a look at baitd direct, but they don't do bulk orders, and buying baits in small packs works out very expensive

Of course they do bulk.

What you want in that case is wholesale.

That's a different question altogether. Try visiting a dock, a fishmarket, a fish suppliers for the Restaurant trade, go Mackerel fishing yourself, bait snatching ...whatever.

Hi chaps. As i live 9 miles from Grimsby i use some of the same fish dealers as Fickling almost every sea bait you need at exilent prices. ALL THE BEST ZAPP

Andy,trust me mate you will catch plenty on sardines,mackeral and herrings.The baits you mentioned do catch but they catch many more anglers!If the water you are fishing on is that hammered on sea deads that the above dont work you would be better catching and killing some roach!
