How about "Tackle It" or "Tackle up" or if you want to sell 2nd hand tackle "Ex-Tackle"

Ex-Tackle sounds kind of catchy.

How about ripping off other names:

Tackle World

Fishing Tackle Warehouse

Fisher Price Tackle

Wet Nets and Dry Tackle

Fishing On eXeter (FOX)

Same Old Lures And Reels (SOLAR)

Tight Lines - Exeter

or even....

Anglers Nets and Tackle

or not.....

Kermits Krazy Tackle

Angle Grinder

Dart More Tackle

The Tackle Shop

You could also make it sound international.......ie.

Tackle World - UK

This makes it sound like you have many branches across the World.

or your initials....ie

DT Tackle or DS Tackle (depending on your surname)

Hope this helps you.....more likely to hinder you.

I think Geoff Salisbury may have something to say about ACE (Angling Centre of Exeter)!!

How about Deans Tackle Emporium?

Good Luck, the history of tackle shops in Exeter is not that great......

I am not far away so you already have a customer!

Cheers

How about.."Maggots"..instantly recognisable to all passing trade (anglers), will standout like a sore thumb in a telephone directory with the added bonus that every time an anglers in Exeter needs maggots....

Err if there is a prize...I could do with a reel to go with the new two an a half Tc tip action rod I won at a recent raffle wink.gif..

Err Errr...I'll get me coat!..........

A PRIZE!!!!!!!!

Thats a good idea!

If I use one of these suggestions from this forum I will offer a prize for it, its the least I can do, especially as I am really having trouble deciding.

Some of the ideas are brilliant and I am really surprised by the response that I have had. Anyway keep em coming.

Keep thinking

How about Do Exeter Anglers Need Supplies

D.E.A.N.S. Get it? Oh well, maybe not.

You are competing with Exeter Angling so you want to get above them in the Yellow Pages, so try Ace Angling Supplies, or Acme Angling (in true Roadrunner fashion).

Good luck with the shop anyway.

I will try to be serious this time, how about Southwest Angling Supplies, or even just Southwest Angling, after that is the region you are operating in.

Good luck with the business whatever you call it.

How about Aardvark angling ?

Top of the class in the yellow pages and you could get a graphics company to knock you up a very strange sign.

Variations on this are dead easy. anything on the A-Z theme.
