foot&mouth free???

Anyone know the criteria for a county to be declared foot and mouth free or where to find it?. our club is having problems getting access to public footpaths even though the last reported case was 7 weeks ago.

Hi Paul

The last reported case of F&M in staffordshire was on the 9th of april and we are still not clear!!(although we are no longer a section 16)

 

When i asked the EA about the F&M situation i was told that you aren't actually supposed to go on any land that was in the infected area for 6 months after the all clear is given!!!!!!!!!
