Hi guys i am currently working at butlins in bognor regis and i was wondering if anyone has fished the rife that is in bognor regis, i have seen a few small fry where it meets a pump house on the sea front. i am willing to give it a go if there are any fresh water fish in it.

 

Any help would be great thanks guys

I used to fish the rife in the Shripney area, most on private land, we had a shoot there as well, this was back in the 70,s and 80,s. the sewerage works area produced some good roach and pot loads of ells for jellying. The best spot for easy access was as the rife crossed Shripney lane running from the Robin Hood pub down to the Royal Oak pub I think it was called.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

 

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.
