Derwent Help for not-often-DerwentBob!

I know this sounds strange coming from me but...

has anybody fished the Derwent at Borrowash near Derby, if so what are the best methods, baits etc.

I haven't fished the Derwent for about 15 years, I used to go at least twice a week but I'm sure that methods and baits have changed since then, or will a single maggot/caster under a stick float still do the business.
