One bit of advice I'd add is that our fishfinders have shown that reservoir bream spend a lot of time off the bottom. The answer when ledgering is to use a long hooklength so that the bait sinks slowly plus an active groundbait. Telling bream anglers this when out in the boat has often saved them from blanking.

 

As far as baits go, friends who've done a fair bit of this fishing swear by cocktail baits, especially worm/caster or worm/corn.

not a lot of people fish for the bream in there.It used to be heavily fished in the 70`s + 80`s but now its only really pike fishermen
