8 X 100lb+ Catfish!!

I've just returned from a fantastic session in the Spanish sun after big catfish. Three of us succeeded in landing fish of: 14lb, 18lb, 112lb, 95lb, 125.5lb, 151lb, 33lb, 30lb, 154lb, 90lb, 121lb, 34lb, 160lb, 155lb and 31lb.

 

Ron managed a fantastic brace of 151lb & 155lb within hours of each other. I caught some super 'beasts'; including the largest weighing an incredible 160lb!

 

I used PowerPro braid main line, matched with a Kryston Ton-Up hooklength + Gold Label Carp & Catfish hooks.

 

All catfish were landed while guests of Colin Bunn of Carpmaster Tours.

You mean you don't believe me, Newt??..Shame on you..and I thought American anglers were so honest!!

 

The best photos will be saved for my new book; but some will of course be used in magazine articles in various magazines. Look out for them in the near future.
