Carp fishin' must be getting easy, y'know. It took me from 1964 until 1982 to get my first 20.

 

20lb. 1oz (honestly !! ) from Raskelf Lake, a Bradford No.1 water near Helperby in North Yorkshire.

 

Mind you, it could just be that I am a totally crap angler - many congratulations, Elton. But don't let `carp fever` grip you too badly.

Actually, reading this makes me a bit melncholic. My life since then has just been work, work, work. I think I've done three trips this year.

 

I used to like my trips to Wingham for a few days at one with nature
