Off to the land of the frog next week. Heading off to Avranches which is right on the River See. Anyone fished down there? Apparently there are salmon and sea trout to be had - which would be nice. Just wondering if anyone has any tips...?????

La See (nr. Avranches): A very popular river for Salmon. There is even a public fishing area. Typical catches: Salmon, Trout.

 

Fishing season is limited with the "First Class" part of the course open from 13 March to 19 September. Salmon & Sea Trout fishing season is 13 March to 31 August (13 March to 31 March: fishing with lures only; 1 April to 14 July: all types of fishing allowed; 1 August to 31 August: Fly-fishing only).
