'Bazil' found dead.

That's terrible news for the carp angling fraternity.

Can I respectfully ask, at this point, that those who don't share the same feeling of loss that others do please keep their 'digs' to themselves. I really do not want a repeat of the arguments seen here before when Mary died.

Live and let live....

Tight lines,

Elton

That is sad news - as it was when Mary died. I think Basil was in the high 40's (48 or 49lb ?). It must be heartbreaking for those fishing Yately.

Bazil was one carp I wouldn't have minded catching. Rob Maylin wrote a book called 'Bazil's bush' (I think I got that right, I am sure Ian or someone will correct me if I am wrong.)

Bazil's 'was' Yateley North lake as Mary 'was' Wraysbury and Heather 'is' The Car Park lake.

Other fish will one day take their place in the record books that is certain.

Once again it is a sad loss to carp angling another great fish gone to that great lake in the sky.

This is very sad news indeed.

Bazil was probably the best looking big carp in the country.

RIP
