Fishing on the Wye......

Greetings all

 

Heading off to stay with the mother in law at the weekend - and planning a fishing trip to the Wye. (Helps me and my lad escape the dreaded hell of shopping.......!!) I've done a net search and the Wye Valley fishery looks favourite as a day ticket water. Used to fishing the Avon/Stour/Kennet. What's working there/any methods succesful??Any tips very gratefully received.

I saw Mick Brown and Matt Hayes Piking on the Wye, it looked a beautiful setting and they caught some lovely pike. That's where I'd be headed.

 

I'd do a google search on Wye river pike fishing.

Have you looked at wyefishery.com...?It covers the Wye around the Monmouth area.If you are going in to Hereford the Field Farm is fishing pretty well
