'search' option

I've just been looking through a few old posts and was wondering why its not the topic starters name that appears next to the name of the thread?

 

It seems to be the last person to answer the thread,whose name is next to it,not the topic starter, which is a tad confusing.

 

Anyway,I was looking for amongst other things, a picture which appeared recently I think from Newt of the person who'd taken a photo of a kettle or something in the kitchen with no clothes on.

 

I can't find it anywhere,any help?
