That picture was from Universal Motor Group. They don't have one in stock at present , but the one in the photo was a 99T manual. The seem to specials mostly in FTOs but might be worth a call.

 

Personally I'd go and have a troll through Scoobynet - there'll be loads of stuff about import copanies in there, particulary in the Impreza Drivers Club boards.

I've just caught up with the news after a busy few days.

 

I hope I understand this correctly:

 

You had an accident in which your speed was questioned?

 

I make the assumption that you know how fast (or slow) you were going and are looking for a way of substantiating it?

 

It would appear to have been a few days ago now, so the important thing to do is get some photos of the skid marks, together with some reference points in the road to provide evidence of length and direction if it should ever be needed. At least that way, when you find the formula that you need you'll have everything necessary.

 

I have a few "contacts" that may be able to help with the calculations, but factors such as size of tyre, make of car, surface and weather conditions are all relevant. I'll let you know if I can come up with anything.....

The car that hit my tractor front weights, a few years back, left 52 feet of skid marks(well, one wheel anyway) and still hit me hard enough to push everything back far enough to have his prop shaft come up in front of the rear seats.

Despite the fact that he was chasing another car and overtaking at the time, it was me they tried to prosecute, because I was pulling out.

Case dismissed!
