Hi all,

just wondered what time off you've all got this festive season? I've got my final xmas concert tonight and then thats me finished until Jan 8th biggrin.gif (Big Al,fancy a day or two if you're off?)

Whatever time off you all get, I hope everyone has a great xmas and new year.

All the best,

Alan,

That's terrible news. I feel gutted and my thoughts are with you and Sonja.

We'd chatted about your dad a few times - an angler to the end.

I don't know what to say really, except look after your lovely wife, as I'm sure she will you, through this all.

Take care, mate,

Elton

Hi Scott,

sorry to have put a bit of a damper on your topic. I was realy low at the time and had to tell someone. Sorry.

Thank you all for your kind words and sympathy.

The funeral is on Friday and it is my brothers birthday on Saturday.

Last Saturday I went to the funeral of a friend who was killed in a car smash. A realy nice lady and only 33.

Still putting up a tree and carrying on as much as is usual.

Firms Christmas do on Thursday and my fairwell party from the firm before hand.

0400 Friday off to Calais for the trip home, coming back directly after the funeral. Should get home 0500 Saturday. No booze for me for a couple of days though.

Sorry again and thanks friends for the kind thoughts.

Have a great Christmas and I hope you manage to get some *ishing in.

I'm real sorry to hear your horrible news Alan. Tomorrow's the funeral of an old friend, unfortunately I started work on Monday and don't feel right about asking for time off so soon frown.gif

Take care
