With a new record for the number of days above 30C set last week, the heat wave is set to continue it seems.

got to 39 today but our hot spell broke tonight with cool winds and a bit of rain.

 

12 days over 30 and the nights in the 20s

A friend who lives in Melbourne sent me this message this morning (evening there)

 

 

It was 41 at 6:00 this evening as I walked to my car. And it is autumn.

 

Seems that Lord Monckton might be having an uphill struggle with his lecture tour in Oz, selling his climate sceptic position!

 

(perhaps he should have stayed here, arctic conditions in Kent)
