A word of caution,my son Sam went to bed last night and unbeknown to me,he decided to read in bed.He fell asleep and the reading lamp that he had placed on his bed was still on.

The lamp fell over,the bulb came into contact with the quilt,it burnt a hole through the quilt,bottom sheet and half way into the mattress.

You can imagine how it made us feel,thankfully he's ok,but it could so easily have been very different.

I was surprised by the damage,so I'd just like to remind everyone be careful.

i do hope he is ok, we just bought our eldest a lamp, we put it on the other side of the room for this reason exactly.

 

kaw said there are some rooms left at the place he is staying at kempsey, so il find out which one it is, so we can book up

It'll be nice to have it all sorted for Kempsey,all we'll have to do then is pray for a let up in this bloody rain.

I've been really busy lately,working double shifts and all sorts,but I've got some time off over Christmas,Ive made a note of your number so as soon as I can I'll be in touch and perhaps we can go fishing.

but got back from monmouth o.k it took about five hours due to traffic hold ups on the M42 but we made it in the end
