Tackle rip off?

Recommended Posts

I read in one of the fishing mags of someone successfully using Kinder Surprise Egg cases as maggot swimfeeders, holes drilled in as small or as large as you want.

QD do some really good cantilever 'tackle boxes' for DIY and only a few quid. I went to look at some in the tackle shop the other day and they were over £20!

Tackle boxes are a f**king complete rip off (excuse the language). I mean how complicated etc can you make a plastic box and sell it at some ludicrous markup price.

I have two B&Q boxes, one for Barbel fishing and one for pike....cost about £2.50/3 each.

Strange that as I've always found the staff in Ted Carters to be sound, especially the chap on the specimine section!

They maybe so, but the young lad I dealt with had a 'can't be bothered' attitude, one which is evident in a 'bosses' son' scenario. I have no idea if he was the bosses son, but all I can say is if it was my shop he'd be out on his ear.
