Hi Robbo,

Do a search for bacton and/or norfolk on this forum. I've asked the same question several years running.

Bactons a very shallow sandy clean beach. I generally use fresh lugworm and/or frozen sandeel and squid, all available from local tackle shops Cromer or North Walsham, You may need to order fresh bait in advance. I think the shop on the front at bacton may sell some bait? The tackle shops are usually helpful and will give you some pointers about where/whats catching.

I seem to catch bass and flatties so I generally keep my hooks small, you don't need a big chuck. I don't know why but Trimingham towards cromer seems to fish well.

I'd also recommend the lighthouse pub, good food and beer! :D

Good luck!
