British Isles Buoy Data.

Not sure if I've posted this link before on here but it'll do no harm to repeat it especially after the recent tragic events. There are some big seas heading into our South West coasts from the Atlantic. Check out the buoys in the approaches to the West coast of Ireland. The link is to the National Data Buoy Centre (NDBC). This has a clickable map of data buoys around the coast. The data they record is sea/air temp, wind speed/direction, wave height/period etc, etc. All good to know stuff if you intend going anywhere near or on the sea: http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/Maps/United_Kingdom.shtml
