Clevedon Pier

Hi guys,

My minister asked me today if I would take him to Clevedon pier for a day's fishing.

I havent been pier or, for that matter, sea fishing for about 5 years. I know he would love to catch a codling.

can anyone tell me what bait/s to use and what method?

Wouldn't we all. Divine intervention may work but I still think it's a little early but saying that, there are a lot of Whiting being caught over here on the Welsh side of the Channel at the moment. Baits: Squid & worm cocktails, Crab etc all the usual suspects. Tackle: Best bet is to take a selection of Paternosters and ledgers and see what the regulars there are using. They'll know more about it than anyone. Have a great time and good luck.
