The small tide and easterly swell meant the water colour was starting to clear by Wednesdays midweek match. Such conditions are far from perfect for fishing, as the old saying goes when the winds in the east the fish bite the least, this was reflected in the results with only 5 codling being brought to the scales. Club angler William Atkinson won the match with 2 small codling weighing a total of 3 pounds. Mike Vasey came in second with 1 fish of 1 pounds 9 ounces, Philip Mead took third place with 1 codling of 1 pounds 6 ounces.

Results : 1st W Atkinson 3-0(2), 2nd M Vasey 1-9(1), 3rd P Mead 1-6(1), D Thompson 1-2(1), J Gilpin 0-8(1).
