Question to the Forum: Fox LXR receiver

Hi all, can anybody help with this visitors question to the forum?

Hi,

 

I m after an LXR receiver but I cannot find one anywhere not even on eBay! Does anyone have one for sale or know if any other Fox receiver is compatible ...I’ve emailed Fox twice but no reply!

I think the str receiver will do the job as it is similar to the lxr,but not as much range.

 

Which alarms are you using?

I have just found out that the str receiver will not do the job,and the lxr receiver has been out of production for about 3/4 years,so good luck in your hunt for secondhand one.

As to the above I'm pretty sure the LXR's only work with the correct receiver. I'd phone up fox and ask them, put a wanted add in one of the carp mags or... Can't think of anything else. You'll be very lucky to get one secondhand as everyone would sell as a set. I have one with my set of LXR's but since it's often used I won't be parting with it.
