Hi,

We have a small garden pond with 5 carp in it and have just noticed that one of the carp has a slight bend in the middle - Is there anything you can do to help?

Kind Regards,

Cona

Yes....you can get it out of the small pond and put it in a big pond !!!!

There are several factors that can cause this.....genetics (coming from already deformed or week parentage), being in too small a pond and being in too shallow a pond all can contribute to the problem.

One things certain though, it won't get any better or cure itself...the fish will have it for the rest of it's life. But, it won't affect the fish and the carp will/should go on to lead a long healthy life.
