Pole fishing rigs

Can anyone advise me on line etc. to use when margin fishing, the lake I am going to stocks up to 20's, but most in the 5-10lb category.

 

Advice of line weights and hook size for a margin pole would be welcomed

All depends what elastic you have in your pole and baits your using? if it were me id use wb clarkes match team {formerly silstar} in 5.5lb 6.6lb or 7.9lb {the diameters escape me at the mo}depending on how snaggy the swim is, meat on corn a size 8 or 10 kamasan animal spade or for hair rigging paster a simlar hook pattern but hair rig it using a korda paste spring. but its different strokes for different folks isnt it
