Fished Mappleton(near Hornsea) on Friday night.Sorry to say although we had lots of bites we only caught whiting,and one crab!!,

The sea state was very calm and we caught on the up and 1hr on the down bait was fresh lug tipped with squid. We spoke to a few other anglers who said much the same no Cod but lots of whiting hope to go again this weekend ....will keep you informed....

Went out from Bembridge ( Isle of Wight )on Saturday, hell that sea could teach Blackpool Pleasure Beach a few tricks I can tell you Posted Image . Fish far and few between Posted Image .

Only got two small Cod, 3 and 5lb. fed up with feeding the damn Pout, they ruined twenty lb. of squid. Still it was aday on the boat out of harms way Posted Image
