Got my GFX alarms and they work :) :) Had two going at the same time today :)

 

 

Let's hope they last longer than the RT's or Lidls ones......each lasted about 280 days fishing (in all weathers)

 

I will report back in 15months time if they are still working OK :)

That alot of fox bite alarms

 

Which one do you own??

 

I was thinking about a fox warrior, but decided to try out the GFX instead. I have a fox Micron m spare.

I've got the Fox SX alarms and there really good. I got them second hand off ebay, 25 ripp's each. I think that's about the going rate for the SX model when used. I would recommend them to anyone looking for alarms but saying that I think most alarms are meant to be ok these days.

Thats what I thought in the end. The market is very large. I guess if you are happy and feel confident with what you have then it does not really matter to much. As i do very little carping at the moment an expensive set of bite alarms would have been a waste of money.
