Advice on putting made up rods in bag

Ali, with the rod made up put your hook onto the eye nearest your reel. I always hook it onto the 'leg' of the eye rather that the eye to reduce damage. Reel in so you have very little slack line, pull the rod into 2 halves, now bring the top section so that your top eye will be against the butt end. Reel in until the line is tight and both sections are laid close together.

Thanks everyone-will have a go, although I may need a new rod bag. Any suggestions for 2-3 made up rods?
