well here goes , the pics enclosed show how to fix hooks to heavy nylon . first thread through the eye back to front ,then with the other end wrap seven turns around the stem and back through the eye front to back . put hook over rail or similar and pull tight ,job done .

Isn't that the 'Knotless Knot' as used by carp fishermen. They use the tag end as a hair rig. Supposed to be vey strong and no dammage to nylon when tightening. I have used it many times and although it looks as if it shouldn't work it does!!

Never thought to use it for sea fishing though. I will now!!
