Does anyone know how the South Tyne has been fishing lately?

Welcome to AN Phil Dean regularly fishes the South Tyne but I have not seen him on AN for a while he would be able to answer. I know there a few fish in the Coquet at the moment having seen them over the bank holiday weekend, but they are not responding to the fly at least thats what Steve Hawthorne told me.

Mark Lloyd executive director of the ACA is fishing it at this very moment

 

He was at our local PAC club last night and gave a talk on the work of the ACA

 

 

With the bit of rain forcast and the water release from Kielder thats also planned and will coincide with the rain theres no reason why there should'nt be a good run of fish and a good catch for anglers

Good numbers of fish now showing down at Wylam.

 

South Tyne should fish very well after the next decent rise in levels.
