Trawling

someone in my local club, wrote off to the south wales fisheries commitee (or something along those lines) to ask about trawling, and how far inshore they can trawl. They sent a reply saying that "most of the trawlers you see, are scientific researchers, carrying out things like mussell investigation etc..."

 

So unless we you have solid proof that they are trawling (and come on we all know that they are) they will just use the excuse that they are "researching".

 

But i am pleased to say, that as of i think its April 1st till october 31st there will be no trawling allowed from porthcawl pier to witches point, although if you do see them trawling, they will only use that excuse again.

 

Hope Some other people can help in this matter.
