Rock fishing in Spain

Hi Everyone,

In the summer I am going rock fishing in Spain for mullet, bass etc

but I just want to know if I need any rod permits or papers to fish. I went to Spain last year and caught a huge 2 1/2 lb mullet with a group of friends. However, this time I am going with my family and I dont want to end up in one of those Spanish jails you see on TV. HA HA HA.

 

If anyone could help that would be great.

Bob,

I know you need permits if you fish the rivers etc but I would guess you are unlikely to need anything for the sea. Haven't a clue as to how you can find out but perhaps the spanish embassy may be able to help point you in the right direction.
