Sole rig

Hi gals and guys,

sorted out my last terminal problem and now I have another. If you catch Sole on a regular basis could you describe your winning rig please. Hook size etc etc

thought I'd pop in and lend a hand...

 

For sole it depends on the venue fished.

It's either..

1)3 hook, top 2 clipped down and bottom one flapping, size 4 Kamasans, 15lb clear Amnesia, about 8", 70lb trace body.

 

2)2 hook flapping, about 16", components as above.

I have always picked up sole (from the shore) on a simple 2 hook paternoster, just with smaller hooks. It depends a little on the size fish you are expecting. I should add that I don't do any beach fishing at all now - I live too far from the coast so just go boat fishing.
