Darth I've just checked my tidetables and the best time for your Fairhaven fish in is the weekend of 23/24th Junethe high tides are 13:31 at 9.66Mtrs and 01:50 at9.80 mtrs which are good tides for this area.

There should be some bass amongst the flatties.

Lytham StAnnes is the best area to dig your bait.

At high water soft lug is in my opinion the best bait at low water for those who want to walk out to the channel soft lug and peeler crab does the business though the fish can be caught on most baits so don't be afraid to bring black and rag

Will try and make it to Scarborough although I am moving house around that time am emigrating to Geordie land!

Tide Times for Saturdays in August:

4th 05:01 5.45mtr - 17:30 5.27

11th 08:57 5.06mtr - 21:39 4.67

18th 03:56 5.53mtr - 16:27 5.72

25th 09:22 5.46mtr - 22:00 4.97

Looks as though the 18th would be best for highest tide.
