I picked one up in a boot sale on tuesday but put it back.

I was really small and was red other than that I don't know what it was.

The Sea Streak is often red, getting a black one is not so easy! The Beige Intrepid Supreme is another easy to get model but true black - - - - now thats a 'reel' problem.

Alan,

This was really tiny but a fixed spool reel.

The body was attached to the spool housing by a short rod.

I picked it up and put it back twice but I kmew I should have got it.

Never even asked him the price.

John.

I've just found an Intrepid Popular Reel (a lightweight bottom reel as it's described). Still in the box with the original Guarantee and warrenty card which also includes a list of dealers, spare parts and the rest of the Intrepid range. The guarantee number is 5045 and the reel would appear to have been bought from dealer T Jones in Bethesda, North Wales) . The box is a little battered but the reel looks like it's barely been used. The reel itself states that it's a "K.P.Morrit's New Popular" model.

Should I plan my retirement on the proceeds??
