Hiya. great site, I've bookmarked it.....

 

This is the battle that was fought on or extremely near the land I have permission to detect on....I thought it was 18th C, its in fact 17th C...even better....

You will see , if you read it, that the "rebels" had to cross land towards Dullatar Bog, thats the land my mate owns.......the batle site is now a loch, Banton Loch actually, and his land, and house, is about 20 feet from its edge......so you never know.... ..I talked with my mate today, he says that as far as he is aware, its never been detected either....
