River Kennet - Nr Thatcham

Warm evening - still 17ºC when I packed up.

1 Barbel; 5lb 3oz. 1 Chub (sub 1lb), 3 Dace & 2 brownies both over 1lb.

Beginning to get the hang of this! 2 Hours trotting for the obligatory chublet/dace/brownie combo, followed by an expected 3 hours staring at stationary isotopes - but again within an hour of darkness my downstream rod gave a familiar 3 foot twitch and I soon had my 3rd barbel of the summer on the bank - deja vu again...
