Well let's see. 96+ fish in 9 hours, that's about 11 fish per hour so one every 5 1/2 minutes'ish. Total lunch break let's say 1/2 hour, comfort breaks over 9 hours must be at least...ooooh 20 mins (that's making sure you miss the waders) so I reckon you probably caught a fish at least every 5 minutes including the whoppers.

 

No wonder it's a location

Both Paul and I did over 100 fish each - what was quite strange was I seemed to find the bigger dace and he found the bigger roach. Venue is home to my biggest ever chub (6-06) best ever brownie (8-12!!) and second biggest ever roach (2-01) and as with all the river between Hungerford and Newbury a lovely part of the world ..... and yes very !!!
