My P13 has a square end with 4 moulded in threaded sockets so I supose their must be some kind of adaptor plate dont supose youve come accross any pics have you. Rob.

Could anyone give me advice on the best way to travel my P13 on the car roof I have looked at the Thurle 520-1 Kayak carrier Rack,Thurle Hull a Port (not sure if the hull will sit back flush to the upright due to the keel shape), the J bars and Upright Bars from Bournemouth Canoes.I need to carry it on edge to accomadate surboards on the rest of the roofbars. Ihave been to the shop when I started looking for a P13 and I found them helpful and willing to do a price match dont think it matters too much about thier fishing Knowlege as this can be gleaned from internet sites and members of this forum ect the important thing is to make the right choice in Kayak as everthing else adds on after.Have you tried Morton Boats near Lincoln my friend and I picked up a new prowler each for £500 and they can supply all the accesories. Little bit disapionted myself I would have thought that they could have looked a bit harder at the centre area to possibly remove the cup holders and centre section to acomodate a flat storage box and flat footwells also widened the gunnals slightly to accept a scotty flush mount to save mounting it on the side above the footwells, am I asking too much of a re-design?.

Went on a link off Anglers Afloat and watched a video of a P13 fitted out with a sail.Does anyone on this foum use a sail or know if they work. Thanks.

No its not the big game OK have updated the P13 to come more in line with the Elite and Big game so they say, have a look on Anglers Afloat.

Has anyone seen or know where you can get a look at the new Prowler,Anglers Afloat say they have the first one in the country but do not have any pics.

Could anyone give advice on a fishfinder to fit on my P13 I will be fishing in no more that 100ft depth and would possibly want a model that scans to the sides and a colour screen if its not too expensive. Thanks Rob.

Thanks for the info after doing some futher searching I see that Minn Kota do a saltwater engine mount trolling motor which looks the right bit of kit if it could some how be mounted on a beefed up rudder? it could then be steered from the cockpit area. Rob

The reason "WHY" the question was ask is that before I bought my Prowler I looked at the Malibu's and noted that one of the models was produced with mountings already moulded into the body to take a motor and found that brackets were available to take the outboard, I assume from this that the motor is used but probably more in the US.I had never seen a motorized Prowler so I thought I would just ask out of interest.
