Can I presume that the small (2000) is for float fishing and the 3000 and 4000 would be ok for the feeder?

Hi all Can someone please tell me the difference between the 2000, 3000 and 4000 series of reels Thanks

I normally floatfish a river that can sometimes run very fast, especially after rain. However, during the new season I plan to fish with a feeder which at times will carry a fair amount of lead to hold bottom. I am a bit confused regarding the size of reel I will need ie. 2000, 3000, 4000 or a carp reel. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

Booted up my old windows 98 computer only to find that the background, icons and downloaded photographs all seem to be in like an infra red colour. ( As if booted in safe mode). any ideas? Thanks

There have been a few 3 pounders caught last season, In fact, I was fishing opposite the quay on the last day of the season and saw a guy catch two 2 pounders. A little while later a boat came along and moored right in front of him! The problem with the quay is, the amount of boats, duck feeders, dogs diving in etc. especially in the summer.

Hi Chevander The handle does turn backwards as well as forwards and there is no screw on the handle (see photograph). I was actually going to use this reel for legering, what do you think?

Thanks for the advice lads, managed to open it with a bit of force although the handle (knuckle) does not move (clutch). This may seem a stupid question but, having never used a closed face reel before, how does the line thread through. Thanks again
