Nice one chaps, all the very best on your new venture. Cheers Bob

If you are tempted to try braid go PowerPro - I've used this for quite a time for barbel fishing and it is very good. Was a Fireline before that - PowerPro is far superior. Cheers Bob

I do tend to try things out after someone recommends it. I also know what I like and in my view there are still holes in the market on some items. I'm a bit of an innovator and also blessed with strong DIY and practical skills - so I make up suitable kit for me, then a few mates and then their mates and then........ Cheers Bob

Hi Lee, Thought you must be busy - your efforts and others are much appreciated for a noble cause. So I'll keep plugging away and I'm sure others will do likewise. Thanks again to Elton. Cheers Bob I'm a RSSG member - Are You? Do Fishing a Favour - Join RSSG Today.

Made note of it myself so it's not you Al. Also in some past (maybe older?) episodes noticed maybe fish handling was maybe a bit iffy. Cheers Bob

After using 14lb Fireline for a long time and following some advice from the people here (Thanks Newt, Martyn and Rob T) it's Power Pro in 20lb for me. Used it for around 15 sessions now, including some very flooded conditions and very pleased with it. So sorry Fireline (I've still got a couple of new 300 yd 14lb spools) it's now Power Pro. Cheers Bob
